Jeg debuterte litterært i 2016 med dikt i Cappelen Damms antologi Signaler. Mitt bidrag hadde tittelen Nattleksjon / Reisedagbok. Før dette hadde tekst vært en del av min kunstpraksis. Eksempler på det her, her, her og her. Min første bok var diktsamlingen Den sanne horisonten, som ble gitt ut i 2018. Min andre bok, diktsamlingen Sifonofor ble utgitt i 2022. Sifonofor handler om å lære, å begjære, om å være en del og å være en mangelfull helhet. Om det man vet og det man ikke kan vite. Diktene gjør nedslag i tre ulike faser i et menneskeliv og ser på dette mot bakgrunn av dets forbindelser, til andre mennesker, til samfunnet, til naturen. Bokens tittel «Sifonofor» er et annet ord for kolonimanet, en sart organisme som ser ut til å være ett enkelt dyr, men består av tusenvis integrerte individer, som ikke kan overleve adskilt.

In 2016 I had a selection of poems included in Cappelen Damm’s yearly anthology Signaler. My contribution was titled Nattleksjon / Reisedagbok («Night Lessons / Travel Journal»). Before then, text had been a part of my visual art practice. Examples of this here, here, here and here. My first book Den sanne horisonten («True Horizon»), a collection of poetry, was published in 2018. My second collection of poetry, Sifonofor («Siphonophore») was published in January 2022. Sifonofor is about acquiring knowledge, about desire, about being a part and an insufficient whole. About the things you know and the things you can’t know. The poems centre around three phases in the life of a human being, and explore these phases through its relationships – to other people, to society, to nature. The title of the book «Siphonophore», is the name of a colonial animal, related to jellyfish. It’s a delicate organism, which may appear to be a single animal, but is made up of thousands integrated individuals, who can’t survive on their own.
